Amy Winehouse -The Past is lost, and so is the future

At approximately 4:00 pm local time (BST, UTC+1) on 23 July 2011, two ambulances were called to Winehouse's home in Camden, London. Shortly afterwards, the Metropolitan Police confirmed her death.  There is currently an open investigation to determine the cause of death. The current cause of death is described by police as "unexplained". Winehouse had a longstanding drink and drugs problem.   She gave up on life at such an early age of 27.   She won grammy's, was considerend incredibily talented, exotic, and beautiful.  Many are asking why, how, and some of those should be the people closest to her.  Music has lost someone who made our lives easier to listen to and helped us look musically a bit into the past ...but music has also lost much of its future in the passing of Amy Winehouse.

That was what Bruce said in 1999 being inducted to the Rock Hall Of Fame. ...now if thethe "15 years" he mentions seems short, it was Bruce honestly taking in to account the years Bruce played with someone else...and I can tell you from seeing those "F Street Band" performances as they were called, it felt VERY empty when a song came up that needed Clarence on Sax ...was not the same without him, as the music world never will be without him today. I've seen Bruce a dozen times ---first time in 1975 at Burruss Hall in Blacksburg for $4.50. and the arena was always electric when Clarence stepped into the spotlight. I also had one of the times of my life when "Clarence Clemons and the Red Bank Rockers" played to about 300 faithful during a huge ice storm at Radford University until the wee hours of the morning in the early 80's . Somehow, those of us who saw the band the past few years had to realize we were seeing the end of something . At the end of the shows, with the crowd prompted by the screens, we all hailed

Water For Elephants Sex Scene ..SNOT or Beautiful Tears

First Reese Witherspoon said of Robert Pattinson and hers love scene in the new movie Water For Elephants that it was NOT a pleasant scene to film.   She has said of how hot the scen is "I mean, sexy doesn't cover it. I don't know how we got this rating, that's all I'm gonna say,"   But in another interview, with In Touch magazine, she said  "Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I've ever had to do a love scene with ever in my entire life. He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it - and it was not appealing. I'm talking green, infectious, disgusting - I'm not kidding!"

 

Now, the woman who greatly played and sang June Carter Cash to an Oscar now says the comment about how gross it is to make out with the man who is always, as Jimmy Fallon portrays, BOTHERED, has recanted to back up his story that he was just crying because Reese was so beautiful in the scene.

Erika Davies is the voice of Suburu Outback Commercial

Sometimes when you hear greatness for the first time you just know it.   Off the speakers of the HDTV this morning came the new Suburu Outback commercial with the lyrics "I love you I do " and of course, the search for WHO IS that amazing voice and that  sometimes is combined with the ever so continuously and surprisingly popular ukulele, but on this track just a gut string six string.   Erika Davies is the voice and the song is going to pop from beyond the commercial.  Kudo's to Suburu for finding this unique voice and finding a new fan in me.  The old fashioned 1940's quality and a tremendous range combined with perfect pitch.
